RE: what about Mama

Curse me out and slap me even, you'd be close enough to do it on our Island...maybe your Mom gave what she thought was most valuable at the point of contact...would you slap me twice for asking if you wanted to be there...I'd take the slap handshake

RE: what about Mama

I've had one of those...I amounted to what I wanted to and I'm happy.

I think you may be happy with your lot and what you've achieved from reading your posts and your profile.

Wishing a peaceful passing I think is in your nature also even though it may not have been a peaceful existence for you.

Angels are hard to come by angel

RE: Myanmar and China

Exactamundo...stuff is designed to break...big companies make moneies from replacements!

Pharam companies stay in the US for many reasons.

I don't know if you meant to phrase the reasoning of giving the relocated jobs to Mexican Nationals the way you did confused

RE: Myanmar and China

Anything electronic now has a 3-5 year life span. It is cheaper to replace an appliance these days than repair it.

It plays to a cheap labour market for big companies.

RE: Does the Bible recognize the existence of other "gods"?

Agreed they are common to most. When the nitty gritty is gotten down to though there can be very differing opinions.

Good thread.

RE: Does the Bible recognize the existence of other "gods"?

Well I just threw it out there because I've had many different views on other religions by the preachers of many. Just trying to get a grasp on where people are coming from handshake

RE: Does the Bible recognize the existence of other "gods"?

Maybe a stupid question but to which Bible is/are referred?...different Christian religions have omitted/included different books of the Bible.

RE: The Revolution: A Manifesto

Sounds very much like John Stuart Mill "On Libery" and Jean Monnett, also much of the content of a book "Why Europe Will Run The 21st Century" not that I am implying that to America. The most potent quote in the afore mentioned book though was...Europe doesn't change countries by threatening to invade them: its biggest threat is having nothing to do with them at all.
