Thanks for the last two replies. I wouldn't necessarily call myself a "fast worker" in fact I'm quite the opposite. Very shy really. It's just that someone I wrote to, wrote some lovely things back. We'll see what happens. As regards a "wedding" that's far too soon to tell. Need to find out an awful lot about each other before even thinking of that!!
Geordie girl.. will I miss the sun? I don't think so. After 20 years of constants sunshine I've had more than my fair share. Would now be happy with continuous rain and fog if it was shared with the right person.

I think it depends what time you log on matey. I've been in there 3 times now. Very chatty people the first two ocassions but the third I was totally ignored. Generally speaking I think it needs more people to be in there. No doubt, over time, as more people become aware of it, more people will visit. Stick with it!!
Hi people. All of you seem very chatty and personable here. I've replied to a couple of posts but thought the time had come for me to write an introduction. Been living abroad for too long and the time has come to return to good old Blighty. Will probably settle in Berkshire so if any of you would like to get to know me better, drop me a line. I don't know what women look for mate but from my perspective I look for - in no necessary order of importance: 1) Cultured 2) Good figure 3) Beautiful smile 4) Honesty 5) Potential to be a good lover 6) Can hold a conversation 7) Tactile 8) Principled 9) Happy to cuddle up and enjoy silence 10)Can get on with my kids (29 and 31)
