G'day Berry. Although my circumstances are different to yours our goals are the same.I have been seeking a companion for the past 3 years thus far without success. A nice candlelit dinner or picnic and walk on the beach, night out at the movies, that sort of thing without any expectations of more (which may or may not develop).Sounds easy, but in reality is far from easy. All the women I have encountered are looking for more, and I have been solo for so long that I have become accustomed to the single life and too set in my ways to be changing at my age. Your being so much younger will make things easier and I have no doubt that there are also younger men seeking the same thing as we are so don't despair, someone will turn up eventually. Patience is the name of the game!.....
I am currently in a virtual relationship which so far seems to be progressing well, and I am indeed taking it very seriously. If it doesn't work I will be devastated, but will be able to hold my head high knowing I gave it my best shot. I believe we are meant for each other but only time will tell.
