Ted Talks Thomas Fleischmann : From life to death, beyond and back
At the time, this clip helped me and gave me hope... well, it got the ball rolling.
As a matter of fact, listening to academics discuss afterlife was quite a refreshing change after being constantly bombarded by Christians trying to force their religion down my throat... they all came out of the woodwork at the time... I need solid evidence because that's how I'm wired. ...I found it.....
Love it - I went through a number of mediums after my fiancee passed away..... They gave me tremendous comfort in knowing there is more - confirmation was exactly what I was looking for - they were very accurate...
You might be targeted by fake accounts now - I think most of mine came from one person - I abused the last one for sending random photos of their fake kids......thats crossing the line...
the usual couple of fake selfies they send straight away ha.....
It will depend on the context of the emotional experience for the individual... if you break down the components of emotion.... physiological arousal, psychological appraisal, and the individual's perception....
It goes really deep (well over my head to recall) and there are a few theories on the subject... basically... the physiological arousal produces an emotional response based on how the individual interprets it....so an individual could change the intensity of the emotional response through gradually increasing levels of exposure to the arousal... also changing a behavior that correlates directly with how someone feels......
Yeah the lack of... It's something we've created in western culture - individualistic values have fueled the growth of narcissism ... compared with a society that focuses on more collective values...
exercise is a natural way to make you feel good...
I've been neglecting my training the last couple of years - I'm back into it now - so starting out again is difficult psychologically at first - rewards from diet and exercise will come shortly in the way of the feel great vibe : )
Depends.... A stressor could be defined as a environmental factor, a physical reaction, or environmental interaction that triggers....
Plenty of different strategies to cope with stress... obviously changing or removing the stressor (problem focused) or managing the perception of the stress (emotion focused) can help someone adapt and deal with it..... when stressed our body's goal is to return to homeostasis ... chronic stress (prolonged stress) will lead to exhaustion .... weakens the immune system ..more stressors .. break downs ....disease... and death
A common maladaptive coping strategy for distress is to drink alcohol
The joys of owning only bikes for 15 years.. Having to put wet gear on the middle of winter. Then it's the funky smell of wet gear after weeks of rain... places where you can't lock your gear away and you have carry it everywhere..
Now having a choice, sometimes it's just easier taking the car.
People with insecurities mate, or gang mentality - safety in numbers. These types of people are generally weak.
Rise above them mate, pity them, and learn to be assertive around them and talk down to them. Don't even think about them, they're not worth your time.
Take up something simple like boxing, great for self defence and confidence.
RE: Flora / Fauna / Humans / Environment/ Planet...
