It is personal choice but i think it does depend on the age difference involved, If a guy in there 20's wants to get involved with a woman in her late 40's i think that is weird. I would not consider getting involved with anyone younger than my kids. jmo
This country does try to do that, soliders here die every week fighting on the Syrian border, but this is not reported in your press. You carry on with your blinkered vision blaming All Muslims. I have tried just to get you to see one point and failed. It is people like you unable to to see further than what is fed to that fuel fear and hatred
Because the extremists you talk about are not from here. All i am trying to do is point out that many countries are Islamic and Muslims but not all of them support the terrorisam that is going on in the world. And again the same question could be asked of the IRA.
Turkey relies heavily on tourizm for the working people to survive. The season lasts approx 5/6 months, during that time they have to earn enough to live, (the cost of living is not cheaper than England, if you have to survive on the wages here. ) and the majority of jobs are commission based, so if the season is bad the money is bad. They also have to earn enough to support themselves in the winter as there is no work for the majority, also no state help.
Since the troubles began, the amount of tourists has dropped dramatically because people believe that because it is a Muslim country it is dangerous and ALL Muslims are bad. So to me generalizing on all Muslims is wrong and very misinformed and has effected the livelyhoods of people here .
This is why Some Turkish people are trying to leave here to earn a living, not to have an easy life and sponge of the state because of lack of understanding there main industry is dying.
The people here have suffered because of what a minority are doing , that are not even from the same country.
I do not disagree with all that is said here, but there is another side and generalizing is wrong
Best you come to Turkey then. Where no one has ever tried to inflicte there religion or culture on me. The crime rate is minimal, a women can walk on the streets at night and feel safe. Old ladies aren't beaten up for there pensions. Crime against children is unheard off. No drunks in the street. And there all MUSLIM.
Hi what i am saying is it is wrong to generalize about ALL Muslim countries. Turkey is Muslim it is also an allie to the American Govermant, and during the Gulf War had American and British airbases here.
