mainly it is what's reported in local paper's , over recent years it has become more expensive here and the tourists are looking for sun, sea, and cheap restaurants etc. Yes you have to get a 3 month visa when you come here.
i have been told food, drink are all cheaper, problem here is in tourist area the Turks have become greedy, and put prices on par with UK
being in a tourist area we hear that many people are coming to Bulgaria for holidays instead because it's cheper than here, who do Bulgarian people feel about it becoming a tourist centre, and buying property there ?
I used to come here on holiday for about 8yrs and other parts of Turkey, i met someone here my life in UK was all work and stressful job, so made the decision if i didn't change it then i never would . The relationship didn't work but no regrets, i like the life and overall the culture.
i come from uk near London but have lived in Marmaris 2 half years now, it's full of tourists in summer but the winter is very quiet and beautiful it's on the Agean coast
