I agree...
BUT I would think more break-ups occur because the person doesn't bother to show they care at all especially on the one day that is suppose to be the most romantic...vs. the gift not being good enough!!!!!!!!

I dont think there should be one specific day that is made a big deal out of to show you care or love someone.
This can be done on any day of the year.
I have not heard of breakups becasue the gift wasnt good enough, and to be honest if I bought a gift that was not appreciated and caused an argument. I think I would shove that gift where the sun doesnt shine anyway.
It is all in the words we hear the actions that are lovingly done, not in the presents we open.

i agree, notes under the pillow, or yr last rolo in the coat you wear for work or a quick little email, not too much like 5 or 10 times a day, but maybe that many a month, just little ways to bring a smile to their face and make it into special hugs times whenever you get the chance to be alone - I cant really see it workin for just one day a year
