I was at work today and just thinking on things. You ever get lonely in a room full of people? I don't know what made me think of it but I thought back on a few dates I went on with a guy in highschool. I remember going to his house and playing cards and just a tad of partying on the side. We had the greatest time just sitting there and talking and playing cards (his grandfather in the other room). When it was time for me to go home, because I had a curfew, he walked me to my car. He gave me the most delightful kiss. We had real chemistry together. Like I stated, we had a few dates and then after that we didn't have contact. I saw him again several years later and he still had that look in his eye like he was glad to see me. He was doing well. We were both in a hurry with places to go so the conversation ended quickly. I think he was married at this time. I think back on things now and I wonder what happened? We really seemed to like one another. Anyway, I remember our dates and that's a pleasant memory. I could tell you about some more of my memorable dates but you share yours. Good or bad or just something special.
secretagent09, I love reading about and looking at pictures of Mount Washington in my hiking groups. It's a very interesting place. You have another place similar near you. Ever visited Grandfather Mountain? You should read up on it, even visit. But if you plan to visit do it soon. Weather is very unpredictable there and similar to Mount Washington. You are currently living in a beautiful state. I wonder how much you've seen of it. Our tallest mountain on the east coast is in that state....Mount Mitchell. I live in southwest Virginia, bordering North Carolina and Tennessee.
Love the woods! I'm surrounded by mountains. If I didn't have to work and could stay in the woods, I would. I go hiking every chance I get. I'd go off grid if I had someone to go with me.
I remember the days at work when we took break and actually talked with one another. Break time used to be so fun. Now people just want to sit and be left alone. They don't want to talk or to get to know you. I've moved several times in the last few years and feel like nobody really knows who I am anymore.
Oh, they're not hiding. They are above the swings. Jump on the swing and I'll hit the sprinklers. This oughta get interesting. Wait a minute....need a shot.
Sweeping away the cob webs, airing out the place....I see it was shut down by the mods. Well, C.S. Saloon is now open for all that wants to enter. May I start with a band of my choosing.....
I agree Track. Our difference in opinions is what keeps the world going round. I have no problem with people having different views as me, BUT! when they start making remarks that we are stupid and ignorant just because we think differently....well....just goes to show how bright they are, especially when they don't even live in this country and REALLY know how things are.
Must be so nice to sit back from afar and throw peanuts.....
Yep, and you can tell someone something in a tactful way, therefore still being honest, yet not necessarily complimenting them and not being nasty about it, either.
Tell us about a memorable date
