Actually I am back in work after a week off, the kids on mid term as well, thought I woudl never get back lol couldnt be at home all day would go crazy
Over the years I have had all of the scenarios, both off us working full time, him at home while I worked, me at home while he worked. In more recent years since I have seperated I have found that the ideal for me is part time work,I work 8.30am to 2.30 pm Mon to Fri in a job I love and with the exception of school holidays am home when the children get in from school.
I us im a lot and although I do get the unwanted contact as well I wont turn it as I enjoy chatting to people I know. I simply say no to requests from people I dont know,
you definately should try Cecilia Ahern, and The Island by Victoria Hislop is great to, is set in Crete and I read it while there on holiday last year.
