Sorry must have been tired when I read your post. I asked the question because as I stated in a previous post my ex reckons that because the children live with me that they are my responsibility not his.
I neither get nor expect maintence fron my ex husband, when we split I asked for support for the children but stated that I didnt want anything for myself. I am more than capable of maintaining myself and dont see that as my ex's responsibility.
My ex believes that child support is a noose around his neck,and not up to him since the children live with me, he spent for 2 years bringing me to court and he finally gave up work so that I receive minimum payments for the children.
