I received mail from this guy but it was so obvious from the word go that he was a scammer I didnt respond. I advise the lady in question to read the warnings on here. I have to say I am amazed anyone fell for it.
I know its not what the thread is about but since you brought this up, if you have been working continuously you are entitled to Jobseekers Benefit with is worked out depending on your contributions in the previous tax year.
Jobseekers Allowance is paid when you are not entitled to benefit or your entitlement has run out and the personal rate is €204.30
On a personal note the stoppage has put me in an awkward position.
I work in a College but my contract is with an agency, if I dont pass the picket on Monday and go to work I am in breach of my contract, yet if I do pass it and go in it will create bad feeling with the people I work with everyday.
I think it is sad to judge yourself on whether or not others need you. I cant what for the day my children no longer need me and I will be free to look after myself, explore the world, come and go as I please.
Sorry to be a pain, but you would get more responses on this if you posted it in the ie forums, people from all over in the Intl forums and they wouldnt know where Marly park is.
Perhaps I am niave as you say, I would have thought that if there was any doubt about him being elegible to run then he woould have had to wait until that was cleared up, before he did run.
