Well the reason I asked is because I thought it wasnt ny further out than I am in Dun Laoire and seemed odd that you said you werent going because it was to far.......
Have to say I never thought of it as a problem when I joined, I actually liked the way members who had been here awhile actually took the time to look out for us 'newbies' as we all were at one stage.
Am sorry if you had a row with another member hoody but it really isnt nice to bring it into the forum. We are all adults and can make up our own minds about people.
I think its totally possible to be happy alone, yes. And alot of people do,sadly depend upon others to make them happy - which is wrong..it puts a heavy burden on the other person.
Im happy in my own skin, but dont want to spend the rest of my life alone; its not a natural condition - humans are social creatures.
Loving and losing is very hard and very hurtful, yes. It just means that I chose the wrong partner for me in that instance, and as you say, you have to take responsibility for one's own failures; however, it doesnt make me think that all future men that come into my path are likely to do the same.[/quote]
Dont get me wrong I dont think men are to blame or that any future men I might meet would let me down.It is just that I have made the decision that it is not worth it to find out.
But its not on them is it? It is you that is hurt and you that allowed yourself to be put in the position to be hurt.It may be their actions that cause it but you have to live with it.
