I know I havent, just that when I was asked the question I tried to think of something that might be a comparision. I have only had a burst appendix,broken leg,fractured cocksix,and broken ankle before, none of them compared so I had to think of something.
I see that to hun and is terrible, mine are teenagers now and I have always allowed them to bring their friends here. I have given them the sitting room with tv and stereo, wii, playstation the lot, I often have a gang here at the weekend and will throw a load of bits in the oven for them, as I said before at least I know where they are and what they are up to.
My older daugher is almost 17 and wants to try alcohol so I allow to have a drink here when I am in and always talk to her friends parents before I allow them have any. Would rather that than have her sitting in a field where I dont know what she is up to.
Yes I would love to have someone to jump on and spend the time eating, drinking and making love, but realistically I would have to spend the time with my children. Talking and hugging them, hopefully laughing and passing on what little wisdom I have managed to gather in my time on earth.
3 years can make a difference when you are in you teens or twenties alright. By the time you get to be middleaged like me 3 years is practically the same age lol.
