That what I do/how I see it too.

and people not paying the same courtesy is a bug bear to me..

I usually say something out loud like.. 'Oh thanks so much for holding the door' ::smiles sweetly:::

Or if I hold it and people just walk on throo.. I say.. 'Oh.. it's no problem.. you are very welcome'... and they look at me like 'Huh?'

I don't like bad manners at ALL

No I like that.. but that's just manners. I do that for people too.

it doesn't mean I want them to pay for me for things.. It would make me feel a bit incapable.. and reliant..

I would feel as if I 'owed' them. I never want to be in a position where someone can turn around and say to me.. But I paid for that.. You owe me.

but if I ever get really reeeally frustrated or angry (with is pretty rare for me) then I tend to clean at 100MPH.. haha

Scrub the life out of the floor. (after I've paced around like a tiger in a cage for a while)
