I think it's exactly what it's meant to be.. a social place where people can get to know each other better.. and maybe see if they want to take it further.
Same as anywhere in RL too really... you wouldn't just walk into a bar (or wherever) and ask someone on a date would you. You would get to know eachother a little more in some way first, THEN decide.
It's good to take some time-out sometimes. I'm really glad your not leaving totally though.. (I would do it that way too) It's still going to be good to be able to pop in and say Hi every now and again.
Next time you pop in there's bound to have been some changes..
Daniel and Bubbles eloped and now live in a hut in outer Mongolia (they email us once a month when they go down to the village for supplies)
Indy married Riya and they now run a lovely bar on the beach.. (that sells great Indian food too!)
and me and Ship got married and had 15 kids.
