I avoided, like the plague, having a run in with my 14 year old daughter.

I put a new light fixture up on the bathroom ceiling...I think mice had been living in the old one 
And made seasame chicken with lo mein noodles...and a strawberry rhubarb pie (it's in the oven).
And fed chickens, brought in more firewood...
It was a good day

I ACTUALLY went out on a shopping spree!! Can't remember the last time.... That made me feel GOOD!!
I know I should say that I saved that I helped avert some catastrophe, rescued someone from a burning house, tackled and apprehended a burglar, gave first aid to an accident victim or took control of a spiralling 'plane and safely landed it because the pilot had a funny turn or something..........
But, no...... I took a break from those usual duties of mine and..... bloody well enjoyed myself!!
(PS. The money I've spent?? I'm gonna have to sleep with my bank manager now, ya know!!).
