I just bought my dad a Birthday card that says:

A good thing for me today is my dad is at my house giving my sycamore tree a 'haircut' .. so that after three months of no tv.. my satellite dish will get a signal again..

Yeah .. but thankfully ours worked out the other way around..

My son was admitted to hospital .. and had loooads of tests..

The doctors told me they thought he had Leukemia

until my son eventually remembered to tell us he had been bitten by a rat.. (which had made all his lymph nodes swell up to the size of Japan!)

PHEW!!!
