because there IS one... you just can't see it yet.

And it's certainly not embarrassing to say it.. lots of us here have been in the same situ honestly..

and we made it!!.. . So can you.. it just takes some big deep breaths... some focusing on the end result..

Freedom!.. and a LIFE!...

I remember once my husband coming in late..

I heard a car stop outside.. door slam.. then it screeeched off...

He came in.. sat next to me on the sofa telling me how he had been held up or something..

Then his phone rang..

He answered it.. and was like.. 'Hi.. Ermm.. uhuh.. yeah.. errrhh.. '

and I could hear this woman going bananas.. and I mean SCREAMING at him him down the phone..

'Saying... if you don't tell her I WILL!!'


Then when the he put the phone down I said.. 'Who was that?'...

He said.. 'Ohh... just blah blah (man) from work'

I said .. 'Ahhhh.. because it sounded like a screaming hysterical woman to me'..

He left the room.. and walked to the other side of the house..

I waited a moment.. then went quietly after him.. I stood in the corridor and could hear him saying to her..

'Listen your f*cking filthy old b*tch.. if you EVER call me when I am at home again.. it will be ME telling your husband.. and you will be back on the street where you belong!' ...


I was shocked that SHE would put up with that!.. hahaha..


That was near the end of out relationship.. there were lots more before that.


That woman was his BEST friends wife too..

Ohh.. I wasn't strong when it DID happen to me.. But my circumstances were very different to now.

Back then.. I just 'put up with it' .. (EACH time!)

But I see it all very differently now and am in a position to do something about it.

I agree with Woody up there.. (hi Woody! ) ... it's trust.. and you can't have a relationship without it.

I think trust is the FIRST block in a relationship's foundations.. (whether it's to do with fidelity or not)

Trust is the thing that every other thing in a relationship can be traced back too.

and without it... even if it's only a matter of time.. all relationships will fail in one way or another without it.

If I ever found out someone cheated on me (again haha)..

It would be the first and last time.. I'd dump them in a heart beat.. no matter how much I loved them.. or how much it hurt me.
Been there done that.. I wouldn't put up with it again.

Well you will usually find some good laughs and conversations with people in similar situations..
so it will give you something to do when you are bored at home for a start haha

It's usually a good place to be.

as Long as it fit with my children etc.
I have been on dates abroad.. and am happy to do that.
