Hey my beautiful. Today wasn't that great, but the medical leave got extended until the 18th so I'll be laid up for a bit longer than I had thought.

I could be fine one minute and the next have to lay down quickly. It's all good though.

Thank you baby for the card, e-mails and everything. I missed you but was still able to talk a little bit with you.

Des, I heard the bar was open. You're awesome dude. My vacation was extended until the 18th. And here I though I could go back to work Monday. That ain't happening.

Thanks everybody for the well-wishes, cards, e-mails.

I asked CountryAngel to update after the surgery but too tired to look for it and update there so I'm just dropping this short note to express my deepest gratitude to my CS family.

Surgery went very well and it was so routine, I was out later the same day. Now I'm on the recovery side versus the waiting for surgery side. Much better side to be on.

You're an amazing group of folks and you're always there for anyone that needs advice or even just a kind word. You all were right on target about the dreams I had prior and how simple the surgery would be.

Surgery in the morning.

I'm having surgery in the morning. Dbl. hernia.
Been waiting, my turn, for three months since diagnosis. VA..
I know it's routine nowadays, but after dreaming that I died a few nights ago and seeing my dead mother and grandmother, it's kinda freaked me out.
Last time I had surgery, for anything, was back in 83.
Anyway, thank you to all that have and will keep me in your prayers and I hope to be back up and around soon.

I was going into the Navy but he was at lunch so waiting with the AF recruiter and snap.
