RE: Would you vote for LePen?

She's always been my favourite nationalist, but I think that it's because I respect the French rather than admire Le Pen. The French are socialistic, superior and far more cultured, literate and in-shape than the rest of us. French Nationalism will be a Nationalist Socialism and this in many respects is closest to my own view.

RE: I Don't Know, I'm kind of Frustrated.

Self-defeating advice. It's talking to another human being as tho it was the most natural thing in the world, not marching into battle. Love is a lot easier when you don't think of it like a war.

RE: I Don't Know, I'm kind of Frustrated.

Win some, lose some. Don't make a big deal out of it, you're putting pressure on yourself when what you want to be is relaxing all over her.

RE: If there are no "infidels" left, who will pay for welfare ???

I'd say a leaner and more universal welfare state is the way to go. If everyone is subsidised by a basic income we can end these right-wing days of in-work poverty so that workers(who are in the majority white people)can afford to have kids and the poor and gifted can afford the risks of rising up the ranks.

To end poverty is not a utopian fantasy and there's no reason in the world why the welfare state cannot be used to hold the family together. Capitalism driving wages down to the point where both parents in a household have to work is not pro-family just as much as sending 8 year olds down mine shafts was never pro-family. Massive wealth inequality is not pro-stability. Social conservatives need to have a long, hard think about capitalism.

RE: If there are no "infidels" left, who will pay for welfare ???

That's a big difference between us and Islam. Muslim elders, in their own way, really are looking out for the longterm interests of Islamic children. A terrible plan is a plan nonetheless and white people too need a plan.

RE: Kim Jong-un

I don't if he is an unpredictable madman or whether he's just doing it for the effect.

RE: WOW WOWDY WOW

There's effectively no opposition and this is Theresa playing the central authority figure. She's done remain and done being a brexiteer, and when both sides are in disarray you take to the centre. She's a wily old Stalin.

RE: Online Gambling

Let's not quibble about the numbers the point is that the lottery helped achieved massive sporting prowess and at the same time helps make people healthy. I'd much rather bring the profits from zero-sum and materially resourceless gambling into the public purse than into the hands of private shareholders. This would potentially be a prototype for more radical ideas, the betting industry is the poor man's stock exchange.

RE: Right or Wrong???

Home sweet home.

It reflects tragically on the city but a scheme like this will work. The instant gratification of shopping vouchers will make the difference where the longterm health of your child is forgotten. Although to be fair to smokers there's nothing worse for your child's health than being a great big fat parent. Maybe if mum drops a dress size we should buy her a new dress.

RE: What nationality is the best in the bed room?

Lazy isn't my fault, I would try harder but she's not inspiring enough. The onus is on her.

RE: Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the most Eloquent Apostate

Islam is regressing into conservative simpletonism like we are only they start from a much lower place. Both cultures need some time out alone for soul-searching purposes and basically we're getting in each others way. The more we mix together the less earnest our self-reflection. Alone we will stand and together we fall apart.

RE: Has The Alta-Right Trump Train Come To A Halt?

People describe Stalin as a Red Fascist surrounded by yes men but even here Communism was full of doubting Thomas anti-stalinists. Dictatorships from the right don't see this because fascism grows out of a completely different, much more right-wing personality.

RE: Has The Alta-Right Trump Train Come To A Halt?

One of the reasons people don't like liberals is because they lose and the reason they often lose the battle(if not the war)is through being the doubting Thomas. The conventional divide between left and right is the difference between the doubting Thomas and the yes man.

RE: Has The Alta-Right Trump Train Come To A Halt?

And there's the overlap between fascism and capitalism. It's not advocacy of the state, but what you think makes people tick and the closest thing to a fascist citizen is the company yes man. Self-serving obedience to authority; sycophancy is the hallmark of that person who would never ask where the trains are going.

RE: Has The Alta-Right Trump Train Come To A Halt?

Not the alt-right per se, you're misunderstanding the scope and nature of the people who oppose you just like Hillary did. All people anti-globalist are pissed off. There's a difference between that fringe of the right and everybody else against the current establishment and if you'd realised before then Bernie Sanders would be president now.

RE: Is TRUMP good FOR AMERICA and TO the WORLD

Many Trumpsters are not going to miss out on this chance to feel momentarily significant, it's the only one they've ever had. They're like the fat girl who's been asked to the school disco. They don't know that it was all a cruel joke which ends in a bucket of pigs blood thrown over them.

RE: Is TRUMP good FOR AMERICA and TO the WORLD

Directly bad. The man is a shill, liar and incompetent.

Indiretly, however, not necessarily such a bad thing. There is no way that the mainstream can go back to how it was: whatever happens in future will be less globalised than it would have been unless Trump is so atrociously bad that she sullies anything and everything resembling that position - which was a concern from long before it was elected.

RE: what class are you in?

And if money really does equal class then explain Wayne Rooney

RE: what class are you in?

Tell a lie there's a huge Christian argument against Capitalism which is similar to that of ye olde aristocracy - Jesus tells us to reject the materialism of this world - but that viewpoint has very little purchase over American society. I think this is because the "traditional elites" of America were capitalists. In all of its history that is what it has known.

RE: what class are you in?

Good manners cost nothing - that's the line.

And although I've never been much of a monarchist I am glad we've kept the monarchy as I believe this broadly acts against everything being about money. Capitalism is too aggressive and competitive and frankly male, it kills the manners and refinement of the world and this is one argument the upper class once levelled at these middle class capitalist upstarts a few hundred years ago. America never had an upper class and the only critique of capitalism in America is the socialist critique(and socialism is all about money and materialism only with a different distribution. It's the same appetite).

RE: what class are you in?

Is Bill Gates posher than Queen Liz?

RE: what class are you in?

It does not. Runway technicians and tradesmen earn more than most white collar workers and lords and ladies make a fraction of the money stockbrokers do. Class is more a measure of attitude and lifestyle.

RE: what class are you in?

Working class women look like crap by 35 you're definitely not one of those. Look at how well you've aged.

RE: what class are you in?

Not that class is about money per se. Certainly not anymore. Bill Gates, Donald Trump and Mark Zuckerberg.. these people are not upper class. In fact the upper class very little role in today's society and perhaps this is part of the reason why society is so polarised between nerd and jock. Nerd versus jock is a social construct the upper class take no part in.
