I've never really believed in trying cast any illusions, what's the point? It is what it is, people are either going to accept it or not. I've met people from this dating site who didn't resemble their profile pic at all when we met, they'd used much younger images. Although maintaining politeness throughout our dates, I had already withdrawn any interest as they had deceived me already.

I guess it has to affect what I hear to some extent, but as I haven't had any examination I'm unsure as to what level. I've grown use to the tinnitus. But if I focus on it's constant hiss it seems to rise in volume and be an annoyance. Other than that, I just have a constant distant static as a backdrop to my life.
