Also these days it is work which can split couples up as in the good old days the husband was the bread winner and the wife stayed at home or did a job which was fairly low down and if the husband had to move for work the wife could fairly easily find a new job. These days with the wife also having a good job she might think her job is more important than her husband as was the case for where one of the daughters decided her job was more important so they split up when he had to move. In the case of my eldest niece if she finds someone it could be her who has to move for her job and this could be to another country as well.
Nothing better working in the garden especially when I can harvest the crops and eat fresh vegetables and fruit which I have sown/planted and when warm enough dressed as nature intended me to be.
The only thing I have which is false on my profile is my date of birth, where the year is correct and so is the month but, the date isn't and I did this so if someone uses information from this site for fraud they will have incorrect information so will be unable to use it.
So yes to all those questions, even when I leave the greenhouse door to go and get something and when coming back I find she has eaten the first two cucumbers of the season, while they are still growing on the plants.
Reminds me two of my cousins when one cut food into half the other one chose which they wanted and the youngest sister chose the biggest half her older sister said she had chosen the smallest half and the youngest sister swapped back so she had the smallest half.
24C and sunny down in the SW of England today so was able build up my tan, but meant to be getting colder with only up to about 19C for the next fortnight but sunny so will be to cold for Merc to come for now.
Tinned and jarred produce will keep more or less indenforly so there is no need for any dates on them.
Another thing is fizzy drinks which say they should be used within 3 days and as long as the cap is turned tight it will still be fizzy three weeks after it is opened.
A year or two ago there was a TV program showing how much food was been wasted before it left the farms where it was been grown because the shape/size wasn't up to standard. This worked and now the supermarkets are selling this veg/fruit and in the case on the chain we use it is called wonky vegetables etc and are even advertising they sell it on the TV. Also there is food waist bins for each house which goes off to be composted. Also a few years ago the biggest supermarket chain was given a huge kick up their backside when it was exposed how much food was wasted in their warehouses and never got to the shops such as fresh supply of apples put in front of apples already on the shelf's and had gone off in the warehouses.
