What's respect? It's a relative term. Do you 'respect' an abusive partner, simply because she's female? I think 'respect' is a standard trope that is used to avoid more critical analysis. You can't be respectful to people who don't deserve it.
I don't see any difference between men and women. Trying to understand what goes on in someone else's head is a guess at best. If you have a level of emotional intelligence, you can make an educated guess. Put yourself in the other person's shoes, that's your best bet. Rocket science is way more complicated.
Men understand women, but they just play dumb. By playing dumb, they avoid complications. Keep it simple, don't react to the cold shoulder, silent treatment. Silence works both ways.
Free dating sites are a godsend to players, cheaters and scammers. Multiple profiles, created daily then deleted, it's a business. Half the profiles you look at are probably dodgy. If you want more security and quality, pay the price and go to fee-based dating sites.
To be a no-meat eater means you have to deny yourself 90% of the great international cuisine out there. Meat is truly ubiquitous as a menu staple in all cultures. Read it and weep vegetarians!

I eat some fish maybe once a week on average. if I'm out in a restaurant, I used to order a meat dish, these days not so much. I do buy the odd chunk of Parmesan. A few times a year I'll actually order a pizza.
I eat these: veg, fruit, nuts, pulses, beans, soy milk, plenty of Indian spices, a ton of garlic, vodka, wine.
When I said 'few' I meant 'two.' Apparently, as you point out, it's the heavy metals and other pollutants that collect over time in fish. The way to avoid that is eat the young, small stuff - mackerel, sardines, the idea being they haven't had time in their short lives to collect much. Also, here's a weird caveat - beware of eating too much spinach. It's all there in the research, backed up by solid-ish clinical trials.
The industrial food chain is polluted. There is a great deal of research done, clinical trials which show that diet has enormous influence on health, so you are what u eat. Beans, veg, pulses, fruit, soy milk. I still eat fish a few times a week.
Men don't understand women.
