naw i joined originally just for chat.. so after about a year the craic was mighty on here so i suggested my mam join it.. her and 2 friends did.. needless to say they only attended one dub meet and i dont think any one was any the wiser we knew eachother yet alone related.. so i couldn care less.. ive suggested it to a few friends... 3 post on and off on the forums over the years they chose to remain picturess less.. 2 of my younger friends as in my age also joined and also only attened one meet the one in navan..

i was with someone for a few years we were together for 2 then he cheated broke up.. end up seeing each other on and for another 2 and a half years.. cheating depending on how serious the relationship is i might be able to get over.. cheating and getting the girl pregnant i cant

ive been using the same profile since the day i joined, i couldn be assed with 'recreating' myself.. i know of a few who have done so..

yup same as everyone else.. with work i stopped goin to the gym.. but since easter ive started goin back at least 3 times a week, i also do spinning and aqua aerobics, if im feeling really fit on my days of ive started walking again.. time to get fit for the summer!!!

thats exactly my point.. if u are planning to attend.. if u wish to attend.. if u want to go... NO WHERE does its state u are obliged to attend.. fact.. it is an idicator to the person planning the event in the numbers that are intersted in goin.. like i said over and over loads were planning on attending and perhaps something came up. end of. am of this thread because at the end of the day we're entitled to sign up for a meet and we're entitled to change our mind..

thats fair enough.. altho i think ur a wee bit over critical of those who genuinely couldn make it.. i know there was a few like myself who couldn attend for genuine reasons who would norm attend meets.. we unsigned.. those that didn fair enough is bad manners.. but i saw in the thread people asking who was still goin.. and not many replid with def yes.. that alone was a bit worrying for me..

i dont understand uf infatuation with making things look good.. im starting to sound like a broken record but the sign up page is only an indicator of those interested.. read the first page of every sign up.. it says clearly in big bold letters.. if ur interested in attending SIGN UP..

i understand ur disappointed with the turn out.. had i attended and made the effort to go i 2 would be disappointed.. donegal could very well turn out the same but uve got to make the most of it anyways

why should u feel obligied to attend a meet just because u sign up like i said circumstances change, the sign up page is only an indicator of whose interested in attending a meet... anyways enough of this thread like i said hope those who went made the most of it.. after all u get what u take from a night out

i think thats a bit harsh to say the least circumstances change etc.. i know i was planning on goin til 3 weeks when i got told my holidays in work are the last 2 weeks of this month so in unsigned.. people are entitled to change their mind may they wish to do so.. doesn necessarily mean the need to unsign as the sign up page is a page for those who are intersted in goin not necessarily are 100% goin....
