Salt lowers the freezing/melting point of water.. on a roadway the salt dissolves into the liquid water in the ice and lowers its freezing point.
the ice immediately around the grain of salt melts, and the melting spreads out from that point. but if the temperature of the roadway is lower than 15 F or so, then the salt really won't have any effect
well i dont know anyone personally who is trying to 'beat' the system so i couldn care less, i go to work i pay my taxes, people get what they deserve if they get caught out then they shouldn have being doin it in the first place
altho its their right to know whether your in a relationship or not if ur claiming.. not all of those who are, are being supported by their partners and rely heavily on the help they are receiving and are so entitled to it
its awful here am soo cold even with the heating on.. worse thing is i have to travel to near dub for work in the moringing, the raods are brutal at half 6 in the morning
