well to me thats more embarrassment that fear of rejection.. i personally am not afraid of rejection but more so the embarrassment if they knew i liked them then would they avoid me on the forums..

my fear wouldn be of rejection but rather the fact i could name 3 dudes of the forums who id be interested in but they might not even think of mentioning my name in 'the list' even tho they could be interested and then im left thinking what if their not interested at all if any of that makes sense...

i suppose if someone had a great profile and put a lot of effort into writing a good intro and had some nice pics, really got my attention and then bam they're only looking for 'an intimate encounter' or 'short relationship' i wouldn bother then replying

if they were short tempered, i wouldn be able for constant mood swings, short temper fuse, agitated behavior.. sending mails being all nice... then next minute calling you this and that
