yes.

Has your star sign changed

The sign is called Ophiuchus, and is known as the serpent-bearer. If reports are to be believed this “brand new” discovery significantly alters the star signs. Anyone born between 29 November and 17 December would be an Ophiuchus, with Scorpio's window cut to just seven days.

Do you know what you are now??

BRUSSELS ? Misshapen fruit and vegetables won a reprieve on Wednesday from the European Union as it scrapped rules banning overly curved, extra knobbly or oddly shaped produce from supermarket shelves.

Ending regulations on the size and shape of 26 types of fruit and vegetables, the European authorities killed off restrictions that had become synonymous with bureaucratic meddling.

The rising cost of commodities also persuaded the European Commission that there was no point in throwing away food just because it looked strange.

As of July, when the changes go into force, these standards for the 26 products, as varied as peas and plums, will disappear. European shoppers will then be able to choose their produce whatever its appearance.

For 10 other types of fruit and vegetables, including apples, citrus, peaches, pears, strawberries and tomatoes, shape standards will remain. But items that do not meet European norms will still be allowed onto the market provided they are marked as being substandard or intended for cooking or processing.

“This marks a new dawn for the curvy cucumber and the knobbly carrot,” said Mariann Fischer Boel, European commissioner for agriculture, who argued that regulations were better left to market operators.

A “shocking” amount of fruit and vegetables that are “perfectly good to eat” are being thrown away instead of making it to supermarket shelves for not looking the way consumers expect them to, according to research.

Each year an estimated 50 million tonnes of farmed fruit and vegetables grown in Europe is discarded for being the wrong size or misshapen, the research suggests, meaning more than a third of total farm production is lost for aesthetic reasons.

Researchers from the University of Edinburgh estimate that the UK makes up nearly a tenth of the waste,

From January 2021

From January 2021, traders importing standard goods will need to prepare for basic customs requirements and will have up to six months to submit customs declarations to UK customs agency HMRC.

“While tariffs will need to be paid on all imports from Day One, payments can be deferred until the customs declaration has been made, giving traders time to adjust to the new requirements,” the UK government said. Safety and Security declarations will not be required for six months for all goods. Traders will, however, need to consider some other processes, such as how they will account for import VAT.

However, traders moving controlled goods such as tobacco and toxic chemicals into GB will be required to complete a full customs declaration when the goods enter GB, in line with the requirements for goods moving into GB from the Rest of the World.

All traders importing live animals and high-risk plants and plant products will be required to have pre-notification and health documentation from the outset. Imports of high-risk animal by-products (ABP) will also need pre-notification. Documentary checks will be carried out remotely, and physical checks of high-risk goods will take place at destination or other authorised premises.

April 2021 changes

From April 2021, all products of animal origin (POAO) – for example meat, pet food, honey, milk or egg products – and all regulated plants and plant products will also require pre-notification and the relevant health documentation.

July 2021

And from July 2021, traders moving all goods will have to make full declarations and pay tariffs at the point of importation. Full Safety and Security declarations will be introduced, while for Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) commodities, there will be an increase in physical checks and the taking of samples: checks for animals, plants and their products will now take place at GB Border Control Posts.

The announcement followed Friday’s meeting of the Withdrawal Agreement Joint Committee – the last formal moment to agree an extension to the Transition Period – at which the UK government confirmed that no such extension would be sought.

As reported separately in Lloyd’s Loading List, a new £50 million support package was also announced aiming “to boost the capacity of the customs intermediary sector – including customs brokers, freight forwarders and express parcel operators – providing businesses with further support ahead of the new processes taking effect in July 2021”. This funding is intended to “support intermediaries with recruitment, training and supplying IT equipment to help handle customs declarations”, bringing the total government funding “to grow the customs intermediary sector to encompass EU trade after 2020” to £84 million.

I suppose you would say that as you're staying in the EU, we have trade deals coming from all over the world, it just takes so long to negotiate a deal with anyone, so there is no time to negotiate a deal with the EU, before we leave, thats why I am for leaving with no deal, The uk will do it , we are the sixt richest nation in the world.

Less handouts and stop immigration are two ways to cut the sosts, that is why there is this mad scrabble to get into the UK, every day.
