All I see is bickering & people trying to prove a point , irrelevant of if it’s right or wrong . I know we have lots of different nationalities & races , but come in guys , is this really the place to vent your frustrations & anger ? No wonder the good people are leaving in their droves.
I can assure you , I’m very dry when it comes to humour . It takes an intelligent person to figure that out . Reading is an intelligent way not to think for yourself, or other peoples thoughts .
We’ve both been here for years & I think you know me better than most , unless of course , you don’t read my posts . I’d rather not expose my passions for fear of being ridiculed, but food & the great outdoors is close to my heart & family is everything. Typical Greek in other words .
I’ll come back to the pet & profile question later , but what I meant by stimulating is , having a conversation, or a debate on a topic you feel strongly, or is close to your heart , rather than childish topics we’re witnessing lately.
On the topic of pets: Some of us work & have busy social lives , or have other obligations which won’t allow us to have the time to keep pets , or at least give them the time & care they need . This doesn’t make them uncaring people , in fact , it’s the opposite..
As far as profiles are concerned… yes my profile bio may be a bit extreme, but at least mine is more believable than some of the bios who claim they are perfect, plus there’s a little humour in there somewhere, which most don’t have .
You'll be surprised . I’m not against pets , but why put it in a profile when it has no relevance as to the kind of person you are . If people are happy to feed & pick up pop all day long , that’s their preference. I have better things to do with my time .
