Have always felt that the two theories are not mutually exclusive. We were taught that the 7 days was not 7 of our days, it could have been over millions of years, and the first homo sapiens could have been adam and eve? The question of creation defies logic, as does the existance of a god in any form. Belief requires a "leap of faith" to put it in philosophical terms. So unless one is prepared to put aside science and logic to make that leap, evolution must win out. As far as I am concerned, the jury is still out. I have not found a satisfactory answer in nearly 61 years so i doubt if I will find one before I leave this life.
Nope, not at all. Been there late last year a few days before I met Red and fay when they visited me in hospital. I was there on the table watching the procedure on the monitor, the Specialist said "Atropine quick" and the next I knew I opened my eyes and he was standing with his hands on my chest saying "This is your lucky day, I dont know how you got onto the table alive". No bright lights, no seeing it all from the ceiling - just not there.
I will even name some names Easr Timor Solly Lynwood - Australian Army Grunt Vietnam era Buddy Lea - long tan Jim Kanuto - APC driver Bomber Brown - Sailor ( good mate who jooined up with me) WW2 Ted davidson - a "Chocko" in New Guinea - my uncle and thousands more in all wars. We all bleed red.
by the way, for info, the youngest Australian death in Vietnam was a young man whose name was Butterworth (From Tassie) he was 17 when he was killed in the attack on HMAS Hobart on her second deployment. There were around 200 sailors on HMAS Sydney in 65 in vietnam who were 17 or just over (like a couple of weeks)
Thanks for the thought SXC, don't worry about the f--- head, the only place anyone is likely to listen to himn is in the arts faculty of any university (You know, arts, the degree you get when you aren't intelligent enough to get a real one) lol. We saw his kind from 62 to 75 - I hated them then and still do now. not enough smarts to aim in the right place, they would rather destroy the lives of poor bloody sailors, soldiers and airmen and women than risk taking on the pollies.
RE: Unemployed
