I have 3 older brothers but there's only one to which I associate with.The other two lets just say there's been a falling out.
Anyway the one I do associate with is ten yrs older then me.For some unknown reason we've never had a reason to argue.When our father passed on he became more like a father to me then a brother.He looked out for me and took care of me while our mother worked.
Then when he graduated from high school he joined the army. During the time he served in the serve he'd send me birthday cards and send me letters asking me how I was doing.
Even though he's since married and lives in another state to this day we still keep in touch and are always glad to hear from one another.Shortly after my husband passed away which was in 2007 my brother sent me the money I needed to start my own business cause I wasn't old enough to draw widows benefits.I needed some way to support myself.When I offered to pay the money back he told me to consider it a gift.It's not about the money he gave me for the reason I have anything to do with him.It's just that he's such a loving and caring brother.I don't think I could ask for a better one.
