I heard this works

put some water in a clear plastic sandwich bag and a couple of 5 or 2 cent pieces in, and hang them up at the windows you keep open (that the flies come in)

it is meant to stop them coming into the house

I know there are dangerous people "out there", that is not what I was commenting on.
To be clear, my comments are about you writing speculative fantasy scenarios that are a slur on the lady who was murdered....saying she may have stalked the murderer or threatened to tell his wife.
You can bandy your "almost degree in law" around at me all you like but I am not debating the legal system here (I do know about it thanks anyway)....I am debating that your "creative" post was disrespectful and disgusted me personally.
If you do not understand me fine...we can agree to differ, but please spare me any more of your lectures on the law and dangerous people! Try and stick to the issue I raised about your post if you want to debate this further!

You said initially it is a media story you did not follow or read up on.....so maybe you should!
A lady was murdered and they caught the man responsible so I feel you should have some respect for the dead and her loved ones.
Here is not the place to be musing about what may or may not have happened.
And creative writing is just that.....creative.....this is a real life nasty murder that happened. Not only did he end this lady's life but he concealed it and hid her body for over a year.

If I was a friend or family member of Elaine O'Hara (the murder VICTIM) this would make very hard reading!
I'd be very careful about writing fabricated flip side stories on a PUBLIC forum. You do know that ANYONE can read these? You do not need an account to have a nosy on the forums here!
I understand you are trying to see both sides (maybe) or give reasons for actions???? Actually NO....I don't understand why you would write this at all.....
I glad they caught this piece of filth and hopefully he will be jailed for a long time.

it really does depend and this is how I see it for me personally

if I want the truth about something I ask someone I know that will give it me. I am a "prefer to know" sort of person if it is about myself

if a close friend/family (ie someone I love and care about) wants the truth from me, I would weigh up how much it might hurt them and what the repercussions might be before I blast them with the truth

does that make sense?
