Agreed BB, most definitely. And if I dont play ball here feel free to tell me to f*ck off and be serious somewhere else, ok ?
Now where did I put the only surviving prototype of the 2008 CS Edible Calender featuring all you lovely ladies in your finest knickers. WHich month were you again ?
Ah now BB, am not sure how I tried to finish the last one ?????? but forgiveness is important in life anyway. Sure wasnt I one of the committee members of the SILK Society that kept it going for so long. We could all do with some light humour to balance the serious topics.
Have a good friend who works in the charity business.
Why do so many people (in particular Eastern European) people want your second clothes ?
The answer is that the jacket may be of no value to you, but it is worth money in Eastern Europe where designer label clothes as new cost a lot of money relative to local wages. There's a lot of trucks bring thigs to Ireland from Eastern Europe that go back empty.
Thats whats beind the demand for the clothes. Cant say I see it as them trying to rob us of clothes that we would have dumped anyway.
As to the "i suppose they're not happy taking our jobs" - that warrants a fuller discussion maybe.
One way of looking at depression is so see is at too much of our life energy is being used to repress unwanted/ unacceptable thoughts and feelings.
Scary and unwanted though they may be, by allowing these thoughts out in the open they no longer need to be suppressed - and the life energy is then available for living.
We have all grown up in Catholic conservative Ireland, with its denial and repression of anything that was not considered "normal" of "socially acceptable". Some of that we now, gladly, discuss in these forums.
The image to mind is of someone desperately trying to stop a box from opening, using all of their energy to hold down the lid. They get exhausted (=depression) and whats in the box is still in there. Dont know it that helps but I could suggest some reading material in this area if you are interested, just email me.
By the way, it has been a joy for me to open the lid - and find there really was nothing horrible in the box anyway. Its a lovely morning out there.
There's a time for staying with sadness, and a time for leaving it behind. Yes, there's a time to be alone in the dark and just sit with it. Just as day follows night, new days will dawn and the sun will rise again.
Excellent. Lets meet up in McSwiggans at 7.30. It being Galway there are loads of choices (Indian, Tex-Mex, McDonagh Fish & Chips, etec, etc). We can call in on the nite. Peter
Well folks, assuming we are all still on to meet up this Friday, the choices are endless (it being Galway !). The Blizzards are playing in the Roisin Dubh for a start. Will we go for 7.30pm in McSwiggans to meet up ?
Little_miss has already put her cards on the table - she needs a man with a big house. My rather small house and rather big mortgage puts me out of the running anyway (just joking Diane, ok!).
I can likely make Fri 17th, so be nice to catch up Peter
Part 1 The night it was special, the meal was divine, as up to the bedroom we slowly wandered. My bath - a quick one, hers a long soak, As we finished together the bottle of fine wine.
Our eyes when they met – they were full of intent, As I slowly, slowly removed her bathrobe. My eyes they wandered up and down, Over the mountains of pleasure, on a mission of desire I was sent.
Past the valleys, between the round hills, to the secret forest and then the hidden cave, where heaven and devilish fun might be found. Her lips they were luscious, so full of desire, as our tongues they danced round and round. Tonight would be a night to have our fill.
RE: Bring back the knicker thread !!!!!
So girls, do tell an innocent man like me.........whats with the edible knickers thing.......
.........is that just a male fantasy, or do ye own some....?
Methinks I've gotten a lot bolder since the last time this subject was discussed.
