Now hears the Dilemma, if I move I will have nowhere to live and no job and no money.
The plus side, I can find work reasonably easy, not great pay but enough to get by on temporarily until I get settled, finding accommodation though is a problem, its either not available or very expensive.
So what do you guys reckon, should I go and start a new but somewhat precarious life in Italy, or stay in the UK and carry on trying to find work, which at this time seems impossible.

Well, I don't think that I am the worse experience that man can have because, unfortunately there are even worse but I will tell you my experience for the last Two decades: - Well as you know, in 1991 here in Croatia was war. Between us and Serbs. As Croats are Catholic and Serbs are Orthodox , so due to this, there are differences in calendar that brings to that that we celebrate Christmas like all Catholic and they by the old calendar. So, on to days day, in 1991 on a position of my brigade felt more than 3.000 shells from mortars, canons, howitzers and MLRS in two hours counted, from 23,00 to 01,00. They promised to us that they will send to us their best wishes for Christmas from all barrels which they had and they did it. So , in this manner, they congratulated to us a New 1992. We didn't responded with fire. Not on a Christmas, not for a New year. We were sitting in our shelters, waiting if somebody abroad will remember that he is also only human bean. And we suffer casualties. But, command was: not to turn back. I asked them on Motorola: Why are you doing this now? They responded to me that they are sending to us a Christmas greetings in the same way that we shall send them for their Christmas. I told them that there is no way that any of us shoot on any of them for their Christmas. They smiled. Than came their Christmas. We sand them a massage by radio that there will be a seas of fire from our side two days, and that we shall organize some kind of fire work at midnight, to celebrate their Christmas together with them.. Five minutes before the midnight we called their Staff and we announced to them that we shall start our firework exactly at midnight and that they are invited to be our guests. And so we started. From all mortars and howitzers we fired in the air mines and shells with torches on parachutes. On a front line of 60-y km we made from night a day. Five minutes day but a day. That is my greatest spending of Xmas day. After that I have spent last 15 Xmas days alone.But this is due to my decision. So, I don't ask: why or do I have to spent it like this? Each decision has its good and bad sides and so, when you make it, you must be aware that you will have to fight also with bad consequences You are not the only one, but you had to think why is that so? If you don't like, try something to change it. I'll think about it next year. To you, and all folks: Merr5y Christmas and a happy New Year.

Once upon a time, when I was young , on a partys that we often prepared was a very, very popular this story that we newer forget to talk in front of our girls:
