RE: just for the record

YUM!

RE: I believe.......

Well then you must a very genuine, analytical person.
Nothing bad in that.
I loved it, throw him so kudos from me.

RE: I believe.......

Please tell me you didn't write this or I will be completely jealous?
Amazing words.
Especially the best friend and angry part, they apply to me.
In fact this is applicable to everyone!
A song for your words......

RE: Liars

I told a few medium sized lies back in the day.
I won't lie about that.
Do you believe me? ;-)
See, I always thought that I was very smart that I could act my way out of anything up until around 3 years ago I had the WORST run of luck.
Like, stay inside your house for 2 years kinda bad luck and I really reckon it was karma getting back at me for my mis-spent youth.
So now, I avoid any lie that could end up in detriment at any cost.
It is NOT worth it.
It is never worth it.
I don't believe in God but I find it way too coincidental that I had a solid series of unfortunate events.
What goes around comes back around if you ask me......
As for the Crazies who tell ridiculous lies?
They are lacking in their lives, attention seeking, most likely unhinged.

RE: is anchorman the funniest film ever?

Completely agree. LOVED it.
Or Hot Fuzz or Shaun of The Dead.
Much funnier, much more intelligent too.
The subtlety of things make me laugh more than the obvious loud attempts...
Just seems to be more my sense of humour.

RE: A Sincere Apology to...

Hello Mr. Obvious!
Again, fair play to Turkish.
I would be way too stubborn to post such a thread.
=)

RE: Nenobbin......

If they guys aren't aware of it, then I certainly am.
It's pretty hot, in fairness.
As long as you know the man and he isn't a pervy auld fella or anything.

RE: A Sincere Apology to...

Just proof that you are a true lady.
I'd never apologize to Rob!
;-)
Fair play to you.

RE: organising a meet for friday

haha!
Imagine the gang of us trawling from pub to pub!
Session on!
You could only get away with the likes of that somewhere rural, unfortunately!

RE: organising a meet for friday

I've never been to any of them so I wouldn't know what venue would be best.
I want to go to all of them!
grin

RE: Just letting ye know

You're just bould! ;-)

RE: Just letting ye know

Ah jesus,
simple in theory. If someone pushes your button, try not to react.
Easier in the long run.
Unless it's a good button.

RE: Who killed Archie Mitchell

I reckon it's Peggy's daughter as she's a disposable character.
Although Bradley is supposed to be leaving....
So either two of them I reckon.

RE: HAPPY FRIDAY THREAD

Haha, yup deffo.
You popping out tonight?
I can only go for a couple due to finances.

RE: HAPPY FRIDAY THREAD

Happy Friday to one and all.
I was awake at 7am!
I don't know how real grown ups cope with the early mornings.
Feels like I've been up a whole day already!
Interesting night last night!

RE: dogs in harolds cross

I'm up for a couple of pints if ye're headed to town but am not arsed with the dogs.
See, I'm a party pooper.

RE: Last Time you've been kissed??

This morning.
With extra morning mouth.

RE: Jerry Flannery recieves a 6 week ban

I agree I thought it was clumsy.
This is not a biased answer, even though I am completely in lust with Flannery.

RE: Who is eating meat today?

Haha Yes!
I was thinking of making some Chicken wraps, been eating way too much crap lately!

RE: Favourite Beer

I am such a Beer Girl.
I drink Heineken out due to the fact that it's regularly poured and it's hard enough to get an awful pint of Heineken.
But I love to drink India Pale Ale when I can find it in an off licence, or some Honey Beer.
I have tried Cider with a Guinness head, tasty but you can only have one. Tastes a bit too sickly sweet.

RE: Who is eating meat today?

Ah bless your innocent mind Rob.
=)
I am eating meat today.

RE: Thai Brides!!

Great thread!
Ye ever see the banner ad on here with the ginger Irish lad and the gorgeous Thai Bride?
Not meaning offense to gingers, it was just SO stereotypical!
It's all to do with men wanting dutiful, attractive wives.
It's an easier option.
Why put all the work pleasing the likes of us when they can find a woman that will appreciate the most minimal of efforts?
In saying that I have met a few lads that just met a lady from Thailand, fell in love and got married.
Russian brides are also on the increase, my neighbour has one and she's gorgeous and nice but they went down the mail order internet route pretty much and it worked out fine.
So I am not really against it but I do think for many it's a lazy, fail safe option.

RE: Pancake Tuesday

My mixture is like milk!
crying

Pancake Day Help Needed!

So I can make an awesome pancake, that part doesn't phase me.
But I want to do it with Bacon and Maple syrup as my boyfriend has completely forgotten it's Shrove Tuesday and I'd like to surprise him.
Only thing is, I want to know if anything else really goes with them?
I've seen some recipes involving apple and creme fraiche with the Bacon and Maple Syrup but was just curious if anyone had any tried and tested yummy suggestions?
I've already got the mix standing, the Bacon and maple syrup stored away so all I'm short of is something to add a lil wow to it.
I am stumped.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: has anyone here have actually dated someone from this site?

Been on 12 dates from here I can count.
9 never went past the first one!
So, so, so bad.
Cringe!
But Ireland is tiny, anyone that's on here is in easy commuting distance from whomever they are interested in.

RE: How often do people go to the gym

Fair play to you Jackie.
I just am really not arsed.
I always used to cry over the way I looked, get really down in the dumps, then tried working out and depriving myself and was miserable!
So I do like to get out for a long walk when the weather is fresh and fitting, other than that, I don't really care.
I admire people who have the motivation to do it every day!

RE: How often do people go to the gym

Never.
I'm a tubber, I jiggle away and I'm quite happy with that.
But if people see the need, I don't berate them for it and I should really be fitter.
But I smoke, I drink, I see no point in making any effort to be healthier when I'm just going to undo all the good work anyway.
devil

RE: dogs in harolds cross

Oh that sounds like a plan!!
You're very good!
Well I'll definitely try to know for Thursday what the story is.
=)

RE: dogs in harolds cross

Well that certainly makes things easier!
Sure right, provisionally I'm up for it.
Won't know for sure til Friday morning!
Please God I'll get to go out and have a bit of craic, well overdue!

RE: dogs in harolds cross

See that's what's bothering me, I don't know how to get there either and I refuse to waste unnecessary drinking money on taxi's!
haha
