JUst tell your daughter to keep her cool, he sounds... not crazy but unstable as far as parenting goes. Suggest your daughter start collecting names and dates of the people who help her and not him. Lawyer or no lawyer he has to prove your daughter unfit, and if you grnbaby has any special health needs. Get the physician to state that It is imperative that the child remains with her mother. Espescially if your daughter is the only one that has been caring for this child. JMHO
Kitty I do not know where your daughter lives, but most times the parent filing has to relocate to where the child lives in the US. I do not know where your daughter lives, but if she has physical custody, and CPS can not find fault in the way the grandbaby is living then... I doubt if he would get custody.
I have learned from experience that a man's wife/gf can make them look dumb in court.
Until, I have all my totes in his house, with all my manuscripts in them, and my dolls, and stuffed animals... (Yes I am a girl for real) in whatever place he lived in, I would not open my mouth. And I would hope he would be okay with that.
Besides yall would know if I found a man. I would not show up here.
It is rough... really rough... but if you chose the internet to date, you "have" to keep something inside for yourself. Personally, I hate holding back, because I just gave myself so much space... But I listen and read stories about crushed feelings, and it is not anything I want for myself. I want a permanent partner, but I love being the happy mouthy me too.
