My Dad, God rest his soul. The way he treated me, prompted me to treat my kids much better. And actually it worked. My kids... well they grew up without fathers also. But father's day is as big a deal around here as mother's day. So I guess I did okay.

NO I would not, I mean, I am a diabetic so I already have to watch what I eat. I already fought and won, and still winning the weight battle, so if he liked me at first, then he would have to keep liking me. Besides, it was probably all the junk in my trunk that attracted him to begin with.laugh

Shedman, I believe you have given me something very nice with my coffee, and I appreciate it. You have also, wether you know it or not, have made me feel better about about some comments I keep hearing about African Americans and Obama. I do stay away from those comments, but people do not realize they cut to the bone.
I hope you do give some folks something to think about as you have given me.
