Hello =o) I've just returned to CS and I wanted to say hello to everyone! I didn't meet anyone through here last time I was on, but I suppose its worth another shot!

Idealy? Next to a beautiful woman =) Realistically, that only happens about once a week. The rest of the time its definatly 2am, where ever I end up.. whatever position I end up in and back up at 8am.
Yea, we have a demo out right now actually. Past two years trying to get off the ground and write some good songs, its taken awhile but were getting there.. Unfotunatly I work fulltime and go to school so its hard to find the time or save the cash to get into the studio and record anything. My guitarist is working on a solo demo, I co-wrote some songs for him and I think he's diggin them.
Well thanks! Writing has always been my passion but never actually considered showing my stuff to other people untill I started singing/song writing.. formed a band with some friends and didnt have much choice. Now im going to school for my masters in journalism and my BA in creative writing. Gotta give my eldest sister the credit for turning me on to the music/writing scene at a young age =)
Ahh, LL my sister had the same issue.. I think, atleast what you describe sounds like it. She was treated very bad by the men in her life like most of you ladies have stated.. Well I was lucky enough to recognize this and the effects it had on her while growing up, it definatly contributed to my level of maturity and respect for women. She's fine now, just got married a few months ago actually! I suppose you can learn from other's hardships no matter how old you are.
Well, I would have to agree with Bar here.. For me atleast, without that initial chemisty there isnt much. I gotta have that spark to really dwelve into a person, I have to be attracted to them physically, but in the same token that physical attraction can very easily be thworted by a horrible personality.. This is ofcourse if I was looking for a partner. Now Im always open for new friends, and Im a pretty selfless guy when it comes to my friends. If your a good person and I enjoy your time, then thats all that really matters to me in that sense.
Well, I've been here for 2 good days now and I can definatly say I love the conversations and the attitude people have here. As far as actually finding a date, well we will see! Im optimistic, always wondered what it would be like to get to know the person fairly well before you decide to meet them. Just saying thanks for devouting your time and effort into something we all can benefit from!

I have a few guitars, takamine acoustic electric, stratocaster and a good ol' BC Rich warlock. My amp and PA's are all fender, got a sponsor from a local music shop so we get quite the discount. We have a pearl drum set, and Zyljjin (or however you spell it) crash etc.. My lead guitarist has a 2k acoustic electric gibson, its killer and sounds GREAT! as far as strings I use D'adarrio, trying to get some custom picks. My bass is a BC rich aswell. Were thinking about adding a keyboard to the band, a buddy of mine has one of those keyboards with the mouth peice you blow into to raise and lower the tone/pitch of the sound... so if you were to use the keyboard for a say.. trumpet, it would sound a hell of alot more like the real thing. I personally work with Joe South on my songs, aswell as Don Law. Co-wrote a few, and wrote alot of my own. Its a great hobby for anyone who really loves music.
hah, interesting.. always thought of doug as the charitable type.. a nice guy. he may have outlived his career with the bills by a year or two, but hell id take him back in exchange for bledsoe anyday.

Well, from orchard park, buffalo originally.. could see/hear the stadium from my front yard. Family just could never afford to go to any of the games. Fortunatly now I can live where its warm, and just fly/drive to the games! Hows the weather up there by the way? My last memory of NY was the blizzard in 92' I recall the police tying ropes across the streets because the wind was so strong, if you didnt have something to hold onto, you and your snow suit would be blown away.. Its warm down here but, cant seem to find any good buffalo wings!
Oh and Wade went to the falcons I think, not 100% sure because I rarely go to a falcons game unless we play the bills... but I was at the playoff game in tennesse with the "homerun throw back" actually took a picture of the score board where we were ahead with 3 seconds left... and of course, one after with 0 seconds left where we were behind by 4. =(

Some people take awhile for their personality to shine... they gotta have that initial chemistry to "click" to give their personality a chance to come out of hiding! Id say I have to have someone whos physically attractive to me, although you can be the most beautiful women in the world and still turn me off with a horrible personality.. I suppose one has to have the other?
I miss nirvana :( *tear* ... no seriously, for my generation.. what ever happened to the days when MTV used to play beavis and butt head, I dont care who you were.. you know you watched it.. played Stroke 9 Semisonic, Oasis... now its all a bunch of puff daddy crap =( I want arrested developement to head another lalapaloosa... :(
My cousin is in one of those ghost hunting clubs... at first I thought it was nerdy, and in my view.. walking around a cemetary on a friday night wasnt exactly my idea of a good time.. but hell everything is worth a shot once right? Well I decided to go along for the ride and see what the blabber was all about. Got some really erie shots on my digital cam, often just little orbs of light or some sort of anomaly would appear when taking a shot, almost at random and the next shot.. in the same place would show nothing.. well we drove out to the middle of nowhere georgia (by this time it was about 2am) poured out of our cars in an old church parking lot... now THIS place was erie.. and it wasnt without reason either, almost every shot I took came back with some foggy smoke blocking my lense. Didnt exactly convince me of "ghosts" but it was definatly an interesting night.. something I would recommend to anyone interested in the subject.
