Yep, I just got new neighbors from Cuba. They have 3 kids and the mom doesn't work. I was thinking the other day (on my way to work) that they probably have way more money than I do and I've been paying taxes waaay longer than them! I don't even think they pay taxes! The slap in the face is, they don't speak English and I go to work everyday knowing that my tax dollars are paying their way.
No, I use to have a horrible driving record and yes, I use to drive crazy. I learned my lesson the hard way in this area. I learned to make a point to relax when I get in the car. It turned into a habit and now I don't even think about it. I'm never in a hurry when I drive and stupid drivers don't get to me. I just smile at them as they speed by.
I am constantly telling my daughter to get her fingers out of her mouth. She's almost 11 and never outgrew it! Drives me absolutely insane!!! I'm a huge germ freak!
Of course it's huge! My daughter comes first and my new man would have to accept that. The way I see it, if someone is worth being with, he/she would want their new partner to put the kids first. I have room in my life for someone new but my daughter and I are extremely close. The initial introductions would be on my daughter's terms - whatever would make her comfortable. And it would probably take a long time before I introduce someone to her. I want to make sure the new person is a keeper. The other important factor here is communication. That is truly the key.

Bravo!
