It's been hot and dry here, until yesterday, it's almost 10:00 AM here, and it's -2 C ... ... they called for 4-7 inches of snow, I woke up to 12-13 inches of snow... on May 21, it's the most snow I've had all year! ... ... it looks like Christmas outside here... do you have the air conditioning on? ... ...
I guess I get surprised when I turn on the local and global news, not always good surprise's either... But, it's always nice to be pleasantly surprised, whenever that happens...

I think the hot springs would feel good, I'm to old to jump in a ice pool! ... ... It's great that you still enjoy swimming, good for the body... ... The summers are too short for both of us. Thanks for warning me that you bite, I didn't know if you have been trained... ... I'm good with dogs and animals, so I hope not to get bitten... ... I don't bite that much anymore, mostly just growl ...

Don't you also have high humidity in North Carolina? is it 94 degrees and 94 percent humidity? ... ... ... It was hot and dry here until this cold weather stopped in for a few days... We might be in for a hot year...
Colorado has rivers and lakes, the mountain lakes are cold, mostly from snow melt, but has lakes at lower elevations with warmer water... Denver has some nice lakes for swimming, more then Colorado Springs. The mountains also have hot springs, some large with a pool for swimming, I have, but it's been years ago... ... But I do have a YMCA about 6 miles away, with indoor swimming... you don't have any sharks or other things that bite people do you? ... ... I know that California and Florida have sharks, I body surfed at Malibu beach a few years before the movie jaws came out... ... I would be scared now, You have some pretty beaches where you are, is the water warmer in the summer for swimming... It doesn't snow here like some parts of the country, usually, the sun comes out and it warms up after a snowstorm... usually... ... Is it summer already? ... ... ... A few days ago it was 22 C and I was wearing shorts and t-shirt... now, it's -1 C and trying to snow, possibly heavy tonight, the heavy wet spring snow, most of the trees have already budded out, so, there might be a lot of busted branches... ... I don't have beaches in Colorado... ... ... I haven't gone swimming in years, I swam good at one time...
When summer gets here, I'll wish for days like this...
