Couple of years ago while I was at work, my son heard the door open. Thinking I came home early, he walked out of the bedroom and saw my father who had died six years previously standing at the door.
A niece of mine was on a school bus when her friend took a picture of her. In the picture behind my niece was a little boy who wasn't on the bus. Sometime after this incident, she was at someones house babysitting. She was sitting on the couch reading when the child she was watching came into the room, pointed to a spot next to her and yelled. Sitting on the couch next to her was that same little boy.
Another niece, sister of the above, has seen my father shortly after his death. One night after she had gone to bed, heard a voice telling her she had to do something. Thinking it was her sister, she said she would do it in the morning but then realized she wasn't home from work yet. She was so freaked, she went upstairs and layed on the couch in the livingroom, (her bedroom was in the basement). From the couch, she could see the door to the basement and watched as a light came up the stairs. Just before getting to the top, it disappeared.
My brother who is the father of the nieces mentioned above was on his way outside to smoke a cigar when he noticed a woman sitting on the couch. He says he could clearly see thru her. He's mentioned how his dogs and cats will be lying on the floor and then look up as if they are watching something. He and his wife have done research on the property but have found no evidence of anyone having died there.
Last Oct, my brother went to the family camp to do something and had planned on spending the night. After driving 90 miles, then arriving and unpacking the car, he had the stongest feeling that he shouldn't be there. He went with the feeling and left. Ends up, it was the weekend we had all that rain and flooding. The road into camp was washed out where it came down the mountain into the valley where the camp is.
What is your favorite cologne/aftershave for a guy?
I've been using Old Spice for a very long time now and have heard Grey Flannel is good. I'm going to try this one for a special lady in a couple weeks.
I live about 20 miles from the Mass/NH state line and all I see at the liquer stores are Mass plates. These people come out and fill their trunks with boxes of booze. Maybe they're all related to ol' Teddy
The bartender was washing his drink glasses when an elderly Irishman came in & with great difficulty hoisted his bad leg over the barstool, pulled himself up painfully,& asked the bartender for a sip of Irish whiskey. The rishman looked down the bar & asked "is that Jesus down there"? The bartender nodded yes so the Irishman told him to give Jesus an Irish whiskey also.
The next patron was an ailing Italian with a hunched back & slowness of movement. He shuffled up to the barstool & asked for a glass of Chianti. He also looked down the bar & asked if that was Jesus sitting down there. The bartender nodded yes so the Italian said to give Jesus a glass of Chianti as well.
The third patron a redneck staggered in & walked up to the bar. He then hollered "Barkeep set me up a cold one". Then turns to the bartender & asked "Hey is that God's boy down there"? The bartender nodded & the Redneck told him to "Set up a cold one for Jesus too"!!
As Jesus got up to leave, he walked over to the Irishman, touched him & said "For your kindness you are healed". The Irishman felt the strength come back to his bad leg, got up & danced a jig out the front door.
Then Jesus walked up to the Italian & said "For your kindness you are healed". The Italian felt his back straighten & he raised his hands above his head, then did a backflip out the door.
As Jesus started walking towards the redneck, the Redneck jumped back & exclaimed "Don't touch me I'm drawing disability"!!!
I don't have a hair loss problem, I know where it's all at......on my pillow, down the drain, in the vaccuum and the garbage
I just comb it back. Doesn't bother me if it's receding. The less hair there is, the less grey on my head
My oldest son has what is known as Alopecia Areata. A few months ago his hair started falling out leaving bald patches on his head so he decided to shave it all off
Afraid I'm not into the bar scene. Grew out of them a long time ago. Gil isn't far from a lot of scenic spots in upstate NH. There's the Flume, The Basin, Lost River and quite a few others. It's a shame The Old Man of the Mountain fell several years ago. I enjoyed seeing him when on the way to the family camp. He was a natural rock formation which when seen from one direction was the profile of a face.
RE: can you believe this?
