I'm 66 and find very few local members my age. However, have picked up a few penpals, who are younger, but have turned out to be good friends. Nice to socialize and learn about life in different states and countries.
When you are young, LOVE is sought and of the utmost importance.
However, once you have been married, the children are grown and out of the house, and there are only the two of you romance changes and finally you have a life-long best friend and companion. That is, of course, if you are not left widowed or single due to a divorce wherein you start all over again!
I agree - scammers are abundant on these sites... BEWARE. Good thing they don't know the English language (dead giveaway!! lol). As to the "married men on the site" - I've run into it several times to my dismay. Too bad fidelity is becoming a thing of the past!
Their sentence structure and grammer are terrible and a dead giveaway that they are scammers! Now, if they took English classes, we may be more apt to believe them. Amazing how many of them get through and are out there.

I've been heavy all my life and have learned to live with it. One has to love you for you--a skinny figure doesn't necessarily mean a "good catch". But, you are young do what you need to do to boost your self-esteem. Love yourself first--then the men will be knocking your door down! Go for it Elle25!
Concentrate on friendship first - there are a lot of nice people on this site from all over the world. That's a good start!

Don't feel bad - I can't find anyone local either! Did however find a wonderful gentleman from the UK--now I have to deal with distance!!
