I think the reason it can be harder in our 30's and up is because we're pickier. We know what we want and need, and we know we don't want to settle for less. Most (though not all) of us have been through bad marriages by this age, and have learned who we are and aren't through the experience, as well as what we do and don't want. It might take more patience when we're older, but I think we find a better mate and it's worth the wait in the end.

It gets easier... you don't set your expectations so high. You become more relaxed and start to enjoy others more. 40 is tough 50 is ruff 60 is fine if my doctor will let me drink wine...

Everyone thinks the age they are at is the hard age to find a partner or mate. Dating is a state of mind. I would recommend that we all think more positve and good things will happen to us at any age.
