I think that too many people get married purely for a wedding. They don't think past the dress, party, presents. It is not just a wedding, it is a lifelong commitment. They should make you take a course before you can get married! lol

I feel its partly some mens fault who are unable to adapt or accept modern day women , that they have views and goals . But I think today's modern minded and less tolerant woman has alot to do with it. Plus the government's support ( in some counties ) for single parents.
I don't feel its fair that a man rules or governs 'over' a woman in a relationship . It is a partnership , after all , that would suggest to me an eqaul split

I agree it should be a 50/50 partnership, there should be no domination by either party. Women just don't need men as much as it seemed in the past.
