RE: What Do You Like Most and Least about your Country??

I'll certainly have one or three thumbs up

RE: What Do You Like Most and Least about your Country??

We're all good, and healthy.

Cold snap is hitting now and pipes are frozen solid. Not even a drop to wash a tooth!!!grin

On the broken ribs... the hospital can do nothing for you anyway except give you painkillers.

Hope you have a great Xmas in your new home.teddybear

RE: What Do You Like Most and Least about your Country??

Hiya A wave

Thing I like most: the free healthcare. I have two kids with special needs.

What I hate most: the free healthcare. It takes too bloody long for them to get around to you.

RE: Are you comfortable?

No snow here, cold enough to freeze the pipes but no snow... yet.

Kids finish school for xmas break tomorrow so even taking the car out can wait. Staying comfortable indoors.

RE: Can anyone help?

This might be a bit too far away from you Aimee but here's some info on an old train that attracts loads of folks to it. My son's school is taking a trip to it today. It's decked out for Xmas as Santas train.

If your little guy is train mad it might be an option if you're ever down in these parts and trying to pass the day!!

RE: Rage Against the Machine for Xmas Number One

Woo Hoo... the power of the little people banana head banger applause cheering dancing yay

RE: Who was Leonardo da Vinci ?

Nostradamus tried to rescue him but befell the same fate... got stuck in the past. So, he did his best to jot down some stuff he could remember about his own real past, historical stuff as far as he was concerned. Some numbscull came across the writings some time later and misinterpreted them as predictions.

RE: Taaa Raaaaa Kiera

ROLL CALL... who else is alone this Christmas? Empty house?

Ah bless... haven't had one of those in long long time so don't know what that's like.... imagine it's worse at this time of year than at any other. Sooo good that you have your real friends around you though.

RE: answer the following 2 questions, when answered correctly i will inform you,

1) Hundred

2) Tom

RE: December 19- CHRISTMAS DRINKS IN DUBLIN

Emphasis on the 'getting to know one another' bit

12 days of Christmas... Frank Kelly style

Had nearly forgotten about this... brings back childhood memories

ROLL CALL... who else is alone this Christmas? Empty house?

Tis not so bad, will get phone calls and will SKYPE them on the day. We'll have our own present opening 'ceremony' on the 24th before they go, kids love getting to do the opening a day earlier than the friends gift

ROLL CALL... who else is alone this Christmas? Empty house?

Just me and the caged birds in the house this Christmas. Kids are away with their father.

Anyone else cooking for one?dunno

An advantage is that I get a lie in on the 25th!!! no being hauled out of the bed at 6am!!

RE: one thing u could wish for in the new year!!

RE: I'm Irish?

You're right, but I think Irish was added as another 'official' language here at that time.
