You could well be right, I've never had a relationship of that kind, whenever someone puts me on a pedestal i run away like the clappers before they get the chance to slip a rope around my neck and kick the pedestal away.

All people are good. Some just act badly sometimes. Their actions don't define them, their intentions do.
I inclined to agree that intentions define a person more than actions and if thats true then some will be bad, surely you agree that people have bad intentions.
On another level people like almost everything else on the planet come in various shapes and sizes like the colour spectrum, so you'l have black (the baddies) and white (the goodies) and all the shades in between.
and in 10 or so years time when jason grows up and commits a crime (which is almost inevitable) all yee emotional twats will have no problem giving the for imprisoning him for another few years.
