Not if you're dressed in an uniform that identifies you as being on welfare whilst doing the community service. lets call a spade a spade, you'd envisage them doing the most demeaning of tasks, yes?
No it wouldn't, theres no bar on the wealthy being charitable in conjunction with a welfare system. Would you care to provide some examples of alternative methods to extermination?
The difference is when you are that way ( demotivated, depressed etc) it's relatively easy to continue what you are doing i.e if you're working you continue working,
Did you ever think maybe that these "lazy" people might be depressed, demoralised, demotivated or any number of other de's?
You and most people in the western world are some of the luckiest humans to have ever been born, we're here at a time of plenty (for us) and in the right place and no matter how bad the recession is i'll take it any day over being born to a poor family in Africa or Asia, where the vast majority of people alive today live from hand to mouth.
Welfare was originally meant to be a temporary offering to people willing to "work" to improve their lives and the lives of their kids, not meant to be abused and as a permanent way of life...
Welfare is a bribe given to the masses to keep them on board so that the wealthy can continue to become wealthier in a nice organised society free of the anarchy that would ensue if welfare wasn't there.
