RE: A question for the guys

LOL

RE: Change

Some things you cannot change. Like who you are. You can only pretend to be someone else for so long before the real you will show up and spoil the party. None of us are perfect either but i heard once (good will hunting) what matters is if we are perfect for each other. That said there are somethings i think most of us do change after a relationship split . This is often centered around how we look. Normally to attract a new partner. I myself an a bit overweight and i am fixing this at the moment. I also am making an effort to smile more. So there you go Two things. I imagine if i was a girl i might get a new hairstyle or something.

Just a thoughtdoh

RE: I am Now Officially.........

Well done. All the best

RE: Ok a question i would like to hear ppls opinions to?

I was in a relationship which at the start and for the first few years was exactly as was described but how can we know for sure as in my case we grew up into different people than the people we fell in love with. I'm sure there are people who can grow and mature in a mutually compatible way then this love can last forever but this i think is quite rare and unlikely now days. I do however believe in it and hope for it again. if that makes any sense.

RE: Favourite Sunday Dinner ever.....

I think for me a nice roast beef with roast potatoes, stuffing, Yorkshire pudding filled with gravey & mushrooms & onions, glazed carrots & cabbage. Then hot apple pie and vanila ice cream for desert. Followed by Freshly brewed coffee. grin

RE: Dublin as a place to live in 2009

I moved out of Dublin 17 years ago. I go back to visit now and then but i would never live there again.

RE: is it wrong to date if you are seperated from the person you are married but still married

If yo live in ireland like me and it takes 4 years of seperation before you can file for divorce which could then take any length depending on how amicable the split was then are you to wait all this time before you date. I think not.

I think its ok for those who live in a jurisdiction where it is as easy to divorce as it is to marry but dont judge us who cannot with a similar set of morals.

RE: lisbon treaty yes or no

Im just voting yes this time so they will stop asking us

RE: Men...what kind of woman do you prefer? Be honest.

I dont think it should be seen as a list of demands.

Ever see the film weird science where two geeks play with their computer and a barbie doll and come up with their ideal. If you think along those lines.

RE: Men...what kind of woman do you prefer? Be honest.

I think we prefer the Strong independent intelegent ladies but there lies the problem. If they are independent & intelegent they generaly have little time for us mere mortals. Get knocked back enough times then the insecure damsel in distress starts to look more of an option.

Now im sure there are those waiting to jump down my throat but i say it as i see it.blushing
