This is pretty redundant, but I'll keep it simple, abusive behavior and arrogance doesn't work, self respect, confidence, and respect for women will win hands down every time. On the other hand you don't need to be a doormat either...Be true to yourself at all times. JMO
I used to think in a very traditional sense about the sacred vows of marriage at one time, but anymore I believe marriage is an outdated institution that has outlived it's function in today's society where 50% or more end up in divorce. I predict a day will come when marriages will no longer be relevant in society at all. Bear in mind my opinion regarding marriage has no bearing on faithfulness to your partner. If you love someone you don't cheat married or otherwise...JMO
Anythings possible online...maybe he was just stringing you along all that time and when it was getting close to meeting he staged a way out of it... just saying

I usually get messages from females ??? (most likely not) in the 20 to 35 year old range and usually in the first message, but sometimes they wait until the second or third, they will want you to go to their e-mail address with some lame excuse as to why they can't correspond on here...My rule of thumb is as soon as they ask for that I block and delete. Report them if you feel so inclined , but I can't be bothered with that anymore as I get so many...
Larry, everybody, well most everybody anyway matures and makes adjustments to their lives as they grow and mature, that's a given but we're still the same basic person with the same genes and DNA and basically the same mindset...For me to say, my personality has changed and I've become a different person / personality because of experiences in past relationships is simply put, not true. I'm my own person and I am not going to agree with you because thats you want to hear...If that's your opinion and conclusion, it's all good. Doesn't mean it has to be mine or anybody else's...As I said JMO Over and out... Of the zoo.
Sure, we probably have all made mistakes in the past that we've learned from but discussing the faults of others that have been past partners in our lives serves no purpose as they no longer figure into the equation... Looking back at past relationships and placing blame on yourself or her/him is a waste of time, move on. JMO
I've learned one thing, and that I am happy in my own skin as I am today, and I haven't changed that much, maybe kicked some bad habits along the way, but still the same basic person. I will however, be more selective about who I choose to be with again in the future to make sure we are compatible, that is if that ever happens.
