Well most germans about 40 and younger got english for 5 or more years in school, so there will be no problems with this.
Best way ti find a car is check the internet for "Gebrauchtwagen", means used cars.
Well most cars you will find in western germany, (North Rhine Westphalia) cause most people live here, so more cars in use here.
