Hey dave...I had a guy call me from Waynesboro WV this morning, bobtailing to Richmond to pick up a new trailer. He took a load from me going to Alexandria, VA. For a second, I thought it might be you when he said he was from Waynesboro, WV.
Wow, Bro...I looked up this run on PC Miler (Practical Miles) and it shows 560 miles...apparently the same route that Mapquest shows. Not many state maintained roads between those two points. It's an ugly route to be sure. I own a transportation/logistics company and that's the way I would have to route a truck. The shortest way to make this run is 519 miles and thats through a whole lot of little towns and coves.
